SCHOOL DISMISSAL DUE TO WEATHER

When school is dismissed due to inclement weather, the following policies apply:

1. Heat Dismissal - school activities or practices may not be held until after 6 p.m.

2. Snow/Ice Dismissal - school activities or practices may not be held on days when school is dismissed for snow or ice.

We try and notify television and radio stations between 5:30 AM and 6:00.  We also leave a phone message.  The best place to listen to is KOFO, but information is also called in to Channel 4 (WDAF) KC, KMBC TV KC, WIBW TV 13 and Radio Topeka, KSNT Topeka 27 News.
