Students prepare through regular practice, then compete against other schools by answering questions in a variety of academic subjects. In addition to accuracy, speed is crucial — the first team to "buzz in" gets the first opportunity to respond. Competition is strong, with top academic students from across the region participating.
Requirements: A desire to compete against other schools and the ability to attend morning practices.
Mission Statement
Scholars Bowl provides students with the opportunity to showcase their academic strengths in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, Foreign Language, and Fine Arts by competing in team-based knowledge competitions against other schools.
