Hunter, Alexa, Morgan, and Michaela will also be competing this Saturday at the state-wide invitational speech competition in Manhattan. Good luck!
Last Friday our FFA Students competed at the FFA District Speech Competition. Hunter McCurdy placed 1st overall out of 30 in the district's Creed Speaking Competition. This honor allows Hunter to represent not only the FFA district, but WFHS at the state competition in June. Congratulations Hunter!!!The entire group placed 4th overall. Alexa McCurdy was 2nd in Sophomore Prepared, Josef Woodruff was 8th in Extemperaneous, Michaela Rodriguez was 9th in Sophomore Prepared, Macy Flory was 12th in Extemperaneous, and Morgan Woodbury was 11th in Junior Prepared.
