Teacher of the Year: Trisha Rogers

It is with pleasure that we announce that the 2014-2015 West Franklin USD 287 Teacher of the Year is Trisha Rogers. Mrs. Rogers has taught in the district for 16 years. She taught 4th grade for 4 years and the rest has been at West Franklin Middle School teaching science. She has currently coached middle school track for 4 years and is also the high school girls basketball coach. She has been the WFMS KAYs sponsor for 8 years and is active in the WFMS PTO.

Mrs. Rogers has been married to her husband, Karl, for 19 years and they have three children - Tyler 18, Megan 14, and Trey 9.

Mrs. Rogers says that her favorite things about USD 287 are "when we come together as a community and support our kids in everything they do." "Positive support and positive parents have created an awesome support system for our kids."
